Brandon Vail

Brandon Vail has over 25 years of experience in technology transfer, and business development, for biologics, biosimilars, and antibodies, most recently holding executive leadership positions at CDMO KBI Biopharma as SVP Business Development and VP Process Development. Brandon has extensive skills in pairing clients and their product requirements with CDMO capabilities. Brandon has served as technical risk and due diligence advisor for assessment of M&A opportunities, molecule and process scalability, and commercialization strategies. Brandon has led programs from pre-clinical/R&D stage to clinical development to commercialization, as well as orchestrated tech transfer, process engineering and process scale up activities. As a downstream process SME, Brandon has optimized microbial and mammalian processes in clinical through late stage development during his experiences at Amgen, Merck and KBI Biopharma. Through his experience in various MST/Tech Ops organizations, Brandon has led deviation investigations, plant support efforts, process characterization activities, process validation planning and execution, process monitoring and troubleshooting, and regulatory inspection support teams. Brandon is a trained chemical engineer with a B.S. degree from Colorado State University with an emphasis in biotech and environmental engineering studies.
